Why your website or blog counter never reach ten of a millions?
We as a webmaster, a moderator or blogger, always facing the same experience like others. Especially in managing a free website. So far, i have tried various free counter for my liriklagu.com and imnogman.com.
Some have changed its policy from a free subscription to a subscription with a certain amount of fee paid monthly or yearly. Some have changed its name and trademark. And the worst one have finally ceased operation, ceased from existent, expired, extinct (sorry for exagerating due to frustration on using one of the said counter). Causing an immediate counter reset.
I have limiting my view to a free counter only. There are many other services will be highlighted here in the future.
So far, i am quite happy using Webstat4U (previously known, Nedstat). But if i am asked to pay a fee, then i will have no choices. At the moment only my counter, my second hotmail and my guestbook is using a free services. The others, all using a paid services.
Nothing in this world is free. Even when accessing your own website, you have to pay for internet access.
You see, there are so many thing did happen since 1998, but i am still here… monitoring my two domains. Especially the counter…

Being in a job and a position, executive or managerial, that never change in a very long time is a heartbreak (not a Heart Break Kid from WWE), very boring and unmotivated. But you didnt need Whitney Houston to Unbreak “Your” Heart. It is a time that we need to do the changes on our own. A time to decide what is best for us that will change our life forever. A time to look back and then move forward. Do i really need that…
A manager manage the organisation. A leader lead the people. So, where we are, lying in the middle of a ceo and a board of directors, at the top, and a numbers of hardworking staff who always look forward to a weekend/holiday and think that they own a Medical Certificate, at the bottom.
Today is my worst experience facing a “know everything attitude” management. When i said worst, doesnt mean bad. An experience is something that we went through it, get a feel of it, a step for being a better person. So, who we are when they always think (actually say) they know the best, on all issues either from managerial, technical (ICT or non ICT), design, financial or legal issues. Who we are sitting at the center of a situation where the management suggested that staff usually make mistake or at the very least, a minor mistake.
Actually i was stunned…
So, i look back and imagine myself sitting at the same chair of the “top” management (a ceo, maybe). Wow, it is a totally different scenario. A situation where you only have a few hours for your staff in a month, compared to previously where you join your staff when doing almost everything daily. Your daily (sometimes monthly) schedule as a top management is already full with official and unofficial duties and functions. No space for checking and replying friend’s emails. Not to mention chatting or blog writing/reading.
Then, i said to myself, for now, let them be my management…
Thats not the end of the story yet…

I dont really understand the meaning of this phrase… but today, i did some minor changes to Koleksi Lirik Lagu Melayu. I guess it is a new beginning…
For quite sometimes, i have been searching (surfing might be the correct word) The Internet, looking for something new and creative… or at least something that make people say…. ahhh! thats new…
In the end its is a fruitful journey (you may call it)… A lot of interesting page and with different type of creativity… The most interesting subject matter that caught my attention are… A lot of people want to be an internet/cyber millionaire…. And the second one, people interest have been move from chatting websites to online places/community sites… which bring people closer to reality than before… which i have been a member in a few of them.
Sell an e-book, or bidding (selling/bargaining/buying)Â something online, or click for pay, or surf and get paid, or even you can sell a pixels (which i intend to do in the near future), then you can be rich, very rich… some people did, i guess. Ask Irfan Khairi or Alex Tew for more info…
For me, if you really one to be an internet millionaire, start now, dont wait… try being creative, do something different… extremely different is okay… try doing some experiments… and dont give up on promotion… and of course, you need to spend certain amount of money… which doesnt promise you anything… Good Luck… better late than never…
I am saying this for myself too… so, we can be rich, not only you!!!
In the end, it is a new beginning…
